Stretton Red Rovers
is a 'family like' football club created to fill a gap
in the provision of match play opportunities in the locality of
Church Stretton. Founded in late 2004, Stretton Red Rovers
provides coaching, practice
and games for children who may not otherwise have a chance to play in full match conditions
and fail to get the full football experience.
How can you help us?
We hope you share a common philosophy with us that
all children should be given a chance to take part in sport and
prove themselves in realistic match play situations if they wish to
do so.
Stretton Red Rovers
play matches across Shropshire, the Welsh borders and
north Herefordshire too. Currently we operate four teams: Under 8s, Under 9s,
Under 11s
and Under 12s and are looking to add more as required.
Stretton Red Rovers
Football Club does this with large amounts of volunteer
time and input. However, financial support is also necessary to keep
this good work and healthy alternative footballing route going.
