ROUND-UP
The U12s are through to the quarter-final of the Pitt &
Minton Cup after a 8-3 home win over Tenbury North. The U9s Brown Clee Cup quarter-final match away v Ludlow
was very close fought with the homeside pulling off a narrow 2-0 victory. The U10s
lost on penalties in the South Shropshire Journal Shield semi-final match v Onny Eagles. The
U12s bowed out of the Corve Bridge Cup 2-4 to local rivals Magpies in
a very impressive derby clash. The U14s face Ludlow
in the semi-final of the Ian Hughes Memorial Cup AND Tenbury in the
semi-final of the Matthew Evans Memorial Cup. |

5-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT
Thanks to all the players and guests who came along to the event
on January 4th to burn off the Xmas excess. The younger group was fiercely
fought with some tremendous skills on display and lots of goals. The older group
was equally as entertaining with more tenacious tackling and target practice!
Well done all. A big thank you to Joe, Matt and Karl for refereeing and keeping
it an enjoyable session. Well done mums & dads for helping with refreshments
etc. |
