DOUBLE-TOP FOR "CREAM OF THE CROP"
It's double-double vision for Red Rovers as they win 4 cups and 3 runner-up slots over the South Shropshire Junior Football League finals week. The U9s took their second cup in a hard-fought battle with Presteigne to gain a 1-0 lead just short of full-time. The U13s took their second trophy of the week with a totally convincing 10-1 win over Craven Arms. Both finals were delayed by an hour.

UNDER 9s WIN BOTH CUPS
After being pipped to the top spot of the league and having to settle as runner-up to Tenbury the U9s proved their superiority with a totally convincing 3-0 win in the League Cup. They then went on to beat Presteigne 1-0 on Sunday 11th to make it a double cup win!

UNDER 13s WIN 2 CUPS
After securing runner-up status in the league campaign another great performance from the U13s v Onny Eagles in the Ian Hughes Memorial Cup match on Tuesday 6th. Following a long delay Rovers ended 4-2 winners of a very hard-fought match which saw Shannon Parton score a hat-trick in a 100% outstanding team performance. They bettered themselves on Sunday 11th with an amazing 10-1 win over Craven Arms to make it 2 cups in 6 days!

UNDER 9s TAKE LEAGUE 2nd SLOT
Following a controversial 0-0 draw away to Tenbury on Friday 2nd the U9s had to settle for runner-up in the league to the Tenbury outfit. After a great first league season there is great confidence in moving on next year and chances of success in summer tournaments. We wish the side well in their upcoming 2 cup finals.

UNDER 8s SECURE 2nd PLACE &
SIGN-OFF ON 150 GOALS !

Cleobury lift the Division 2 title utilising their experience from the pre-Xmas league as Stretton Red Rover, who drew home and away with Cleobury, take runner-up. So it's well done to all the under 8s who's next outing should be at the Finals Day on May 11th.
